Trip Summary:

Four days of Todra Gorge rock climbing on beautiful tall limestone walls for climbers of all experience levels. On day one you’ll take the 8am Supratours bus from Marrakech to Tinerhir. Once there your guide will meet you and bring you the final 20 minutes to the gorge where you’ll get to climb a few single-pitch pitches before settling in to the guesthouse and enjoying a traditional Moroccan meal. Days two and three will be full climbing days, and on day four you’ll get in a few pitches in the morning before boarding the 12pm bus returning to Marrakech. Because the gorge is a frequent stopping point for desert tours, guests will have the option to stay in the gorge and continue on their own (or with another tour) to the Sahara Desert.

Price includes:

  • Four days climbing in the Todra Gorge with an AMGA Certified Rock Guide
  • Three nights half-board at Auberge De La Vallée
  • All necessary equipment
*Price does not include snacks or lunches.

Todra Gorge Rock Climbing Info:

Todra Gorge is one of the more famous climbing destinations in Morocco because of its long limestone routes and its accessibility (you can drive to the base of most routes). Most of the routes are equipped with bolts, although a few still require the extra protection of trad gear.

Transport:

Guests are encouraged to travel by tour bus from Marrakech, but other transportation may be arranged. It’s possible to rent a vehicle, or take a tour bus from a different city.

Lodging/Food:

We will all be staying at the simple guest house called “Auberge de la Vallée“, because it’s the closest option to the climbing routes. Lodging includes dinner and breakfast each day and we recommend bringing food and snacks for during the day. If you would prefer to stay at a different guest house, just let us know in the comments and we can let you know any price difference.
