We’re excited that the huge bouldering area at Oukaimeden has been getting a lot more attention lately with many climbers from around the world visiting, climbing, and see all it has to offer. It truly is an amazing place and a world-class bouldering destination that is relatively unknown until more recently. Thousands of boulders, beautiful mountain scenery in the High Atlas Mountains and chances are you’ll have it all to yourself. Our friends and partners at Imiksimik have been doing a great job adding to the digital Rakkup guidebook to Oukaimeden and opening up the possibilities to anyone who wants to visit and have an unforgettable experience putting up first ascents. As stronger climbers are visiting, more and more difficult problems are being put up which is great for the future development of the area. One of the more notable climbers to spend some time at Ouk recently was pro British climber Louis Parkinson. We were able to spend a day bouldering and showing him around recently. Louis and Aiden Castelli were there to climb, explore and making a new video series featuring the bouldering in Oukaimeden. Check out this 3 part series on Epic TV.
